Gym industry powerhouse 24 Hour Fitness generated $2.7 billion in revenue last year. The Invited chain wasn’t far behind with $2.6 billion and the Japanese chain Konami generated $2.4 billion. Anytime Fitness and Life Time Fitness also exceeded the $2 billion threshold with $2.3 and $2.2 respectively.

24 Hour Fitness is the biggest gym chain in the US, as well as the world. But it’s not the biggest revenue earner internationally. Konami generates the most revenue outside of the US with clubs across Japan. Anytime Fitness is the biggest international gym chain and currently operates in 32 countries.
