Dimensions/Storability
Storability and portability are two of the Urevo 2-in-1’s biggest strengths. It’s not dissimilar from other 2-in-1 treadmills, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the number one reason you are looking at this treadmill is because it is so compact. It weighs a mere 55 lbs and can be easily rolled from room to room or around the office.
The Urevo 2-in-1 measures 51.2″ x 22.6″ x 4.6″ when folded to walking pad mode. When unfolded, it is 38.9″ tall and 48″ long. It does not incline and has a very minimal step-up height. Thus, you don’t have to worry too much about ceiling height. It only adds about 5 inches to your height, so a room that is a foot taller than you are would be more than enough for running.
Moving the Urevo 2-in-1 around is pretty easy. The console adjusts using a small knob on the bottom of each of the uprights, allowing you to fold it down around the deck and secure it in place. Then, you can wheel the treadmill around by holding the back of the deck and lifting it. It is not very heavy, so I have no problem doing this on my own.
Onboard Workouts & Apps
There are four programs on the Urevo 2-in-1 treadmill: manual, distance, time, and calories. The last three are all target programs. You set your desired target, and the treadmill will keep going until you hit it. These training options are great, and they are definitely the ones I use most when using the Urevo 2-in-1 while working (like right now).
Third-Party Apps
With Bluetooth and FTMS, the Urevo 2-in-1 connects to a variety of third-party apps. First off, Urevo has an app. It allows you to track your treadmill training and record your progress. There are also little video workouts that give you something to watch while working out. There are also challenges to join, but many of these are meant for Urevo treadmills with incline.
The Urevo Fit app is free and pretty basic. It’s something many affordable treadmill brands offer standard with their machines. If you don’t have a fitness tracker or preferred training platform, this app is a great option for recording your training progress. However, the app is not required to use the treadmill, and you won’t be missing out if you don’t use it.
My favorite training apps for this treadmill are Zwift and Peloton. These are my two go-to apps. Zwift is free for runners (at the time of writing this). Zwift includes workouts and virtual running courses where you can train alongside other Zwift users in real-time. I like using Zwift to virtually meet up with running friends that I don’t live near, so we can train together.
Peloton is a subscription-based training platform. The app-only subscription is much more affordable than the subscription you need to train on Peloton equipment. The Urevo 2-in-1 is a great way to partake in the Peloton experience on a budget. The classes are fun and engaging.
There are other FTMS treadmill apps you can use. The Urevo 2-in-1 is simple on its own but with great smart connectivity options.
Console
While you won’t find a touchscreen console on the Urevo 2-in-1, there is an LED console on the treadmill motor hood and the foldable console. It’s high-contrast, so it is fairly easy to see even in low light. It shows your total time, distance, calories, and current speed.
There are six buttons on the console. From left to right, they are “-,” “mode,” “start – pause,” “stop,” “5,” and “+.” The plus and minus buttons decrease and increase the speed. The mode button toggles you through the target program options before the treadmill starts. The “5” is a quick-adjust button to take you to 5.0 miles per hour.
The console is only accessible when the treadmill is unfolded into running mode. When the console is folded and in walking mode, you can use the included remote to control the treadmill. It has start/stop, +/-, mode, and beep on/off buttons. The remote comes with a wrist strap and is pocket-sized.
I really appreciate the ability to turn the beeping on or off. I understand that the beeps are a safety feature designed to clue the user into when the treadmill speed is adjusting, but more often than not, for me, it is an annoyance. I use the Urevo in my shared office space, and my coworkers tell me the beeps are annoying. Fortunately, I can shut them off.
The treadmill is Bluetooth. When connected to the Urevo app, you can control the speed of the treadmill from the app.
The Urevo 2-in-1 includes two safety features. The first is a standard safety key. The second is the speed limit for walking mode. The treadmill only goes 4.0 mph when the console is folded down, as opposed to the 6.2 mph speed limit when it is unfolded.

Build Quality
I had the task of testing a whole host of under-desk treadmills and 2-in-1 walking pads recently. Urevo stood out from the crowd. The Urevo 2-in-1 easily claimed recognition as the best 2-in-1 treadmill in its price range. It has limitations due to its size and price point, but it has the most value we’ve seen in its category.
Frame
The Urevo 2-in-1 has an aluminum frame, keeping the treadmill lightweight. Still, it feels quite sturdy for its size. It can support a maximum weight of 265 lbs. The uprights are metal and covered with soft padding at the top for a comfortable place to rest your hands. The side rails are plastic and too thin to stand on.
Motor
A 2.25 HP motor powers the Urevo 2-in-1. It is quiet. I was more worried about my foot noise disrupting my coworkers while using this treadmill than the motor noise.
The motor is not powerful enough for regular running. This treadmill is best for casual and fitness walking. While the running mode has a range of 0.6 to 6.2 mph, it is best for short and slow runs and jogs. You can use this treadmill as a backup on rainy days when you can’t run outside, but I do not recommend it for daily running.
Deck
One of the other factors that limit the Urevo 2-in-1’s utility for running is the deck size. It is only 15″ wide, which may make it challenging for some runners to walk and run comfortably. This width is five inches narrower than the traditional treadmill width. The deck is also only 40.1″ long. This length is 20″ shorter. Many runners will not have enough room to run at all.
I’m glad Urevo limits the speed to 6.2 mph because any faster is impractical for this deck size. I can run on this treadmill, but I have to use a shorter stride and stay aware of my footing on the deck.
The Urevo is neither a particularly cushioned nor particularly firm treadmill. The yellow shocks on the bottom of the treadmill are unique but don’t cushion the treadmill as much as I would like.
Warranty
A one-year limited warranty is all that covers the Urevo 2-in-1. I don’t expect much more on a treadmill under $500. The unfortunate part about treadmills in this price range is that they will likely need to be replaced sooner than their more expensive counterparts. I believe the Urevo is a great choice when compared to others in its price range, but it won’t replace a traditional fitness treadmill.
Should You Buy the Urevo 2-in-1?
The Urevo 2-in-1 is a solid option for anyone looking for a versatile treadmill under $500. It’s often on a crazy good sale that suits even the most restrictive of budgets. It is also incredibly compact. You could easily store it under a bed or other furniture.
Running mode allows the Urevo 2-in-1 to go up to 6.2 mph, but runners may be limited by the weaker motor and compact deck size. Walkers will be well off with the Urevo 2-in-1’s quiet performance and onboard training options. I recommend this treadmill for anyone who wants an affordable under-desk treadmill with the option to go faster occasionally.
My favorite feature on this treadmill is the third-party app connectivity. The treadmill is compatible with Zwift and other FTMS treadmill apps for more training options. It’s a great low-cost option for training with some of the top subscription-based apps, like Peloton.

What is the weight limit on the Urevo 2-in-1 treadmill?
The Urevo 2-in-1 treadmill has a 265-lb weight limit.
Can the UREVO treadmill be stored upright?
The Urevo 2-in-1 treadmill was not designed for upright storage.
